I had a great time at Legions playing in the Late War tournament March 28…even though I finished LAST (AGAIN!) Pictures can be found here.

I played Brit Commandos:

Is this list crap?? I though it was decent…my opponents all thought it was decent.

It must be me…or more accurately, my dice. In two separate commando actions in two games I failed to save 4 and 5 stands from fire. Yes, kiddies, I rolled 9 1’s and 2’s. I can’t tell you how many artillery attacks went with no hits or kills. I failed morale checks on two Fearless platoons (rolling 1 and 2). In one battle, I needed a 6 to hit the Veteran enemy troops. In 21 dice rolls I managed NO 6’s!!

I assaulted a bailed Panther tank in the woods with a command stand. We went SIX rounds of combat with me rolling tank terror successfully then failing to hit the tank until I finally failed the tank terror. I can’t even kill a defenseless tank…

Perhaps I need to play a game where low dice is good?
