No, don’t ram the kangaroos. mate!!!….Ram Kangaroos , as in Kangaroo Armored Personnel Carriers built on a Canadian Ram tank chassis. The Ram ranks were Canadian-made vehicles which never went into wide scale production after the Canadians adopted the US Shermans as the main battle tank.

UK’s Bovington Tank Museum displays a completed Ram Kangaroo…basically the turret was removed and accommodation was made to carry infantry passengers. It was cramped, but the armor protection gave the troops more survivability than truck transport or even light armored vehicles like half-tracks or carriers.
