Zugkraftwagen P107 U304(f) (Unic-Kégresse P107)

GIs walk past a disabled and abandoned Schutzenpanzerwagen U 304 (f) Unic half-track.

Vehicles of this type were used to transport infantry in the two armored (Gepanzert) infantry battalions in the 21st Panzer. They were employed instead of German-produced SdKfz 251 half-tracks normally used in other Panzer divisions.

· leSPW U304(f) (Fkl) - Equivalent of the Sdkfz 251/3 or 251/8 radio/command vehicles
· leSPW U304(f) (FlaK 38 ) - Equivalent of the Sdkfz 251/17, mounting the 20mm Flak 38
· leSPW U304(f) (PaK 36) - Equivalent of the Sdkfz 251/10, mounting the 37mm PaK 36
· leSPW U304(f) (8cm GrW) - Equivalent of the Sdkfz 251/2, mounting the 8cm mortar

Unic P107 BU

Unic P107 BU, used by bridging teams of the French Engineers. The chassis is the basis of the German vehicles. Photo taken April, 2003 at Musee des Blindes in Saumur, France.

Leichte Zugkraftwagen P107 U304(f). Softskin halftrack, based on the Unic P107, was also used to tow antitank and artillery pieces in the Division.
